Lauford Cripps began performing together in 1979 as part of the Welsh folk/rock band The Chartists. In the 1980s their political folk rock won them fans in UK & Germany and the released 2 acclaimed albums. After a gap of 31 years they reconnected in 2022 and played some of South Wales' folk clubs.
